“This year, we announced the start of the Harwich Redoubt pilot repair project.
And today, we’re taking you behind the scenes for a progress update. 🔨
Specialist heritage contractors Punch Construction Ltd have been hard at work carrying out investigations and repair trials on site. Swipe through to see the people, skills, and science involved so far!
This project has been made possible thanks to funding and support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England, helping us to preserve this impressive building for generations to come.
Protecting Harwich’s heritage is very much a team effort. As this chapter of the Redoubt’s story continues to unfold, we are always looking for passionate volunteers to join us.
