The Harwich Society Quiz Team runs an annual music quiz in aid of St. Helena Hospice and this year’s quiz will take place at the Royal Oak public house on Monday 9th November beginning at 8PM.
The quiz will consist of 100 pieces of popular music from the 1960s through to the present day and all teams have to do is name the artist.
Garry Calver from the Harwich Society Quiz Team, says, “Harwich Society music quizzes are always very popular and everyone is singing along by the end. St. Helena Hospice is important to everyone and this is a fun way to support a very good cause”
The quiz is for teams of up to 8 people at £2 per head and there is no need to book a table in advance. Raffle prizes will be appreciated on the night.
“The Royal Oak is very supportive of all our fund raising efforts and we are very grateful to Andrea King and her team for their support,” continued Garry Calver. “There is always a great atmosphere in the hall and by the end of the evening the roof is nearly coming off. Everyone is looking forward to it.”
