Snowdrops look wonderful at Bobbit’s Hole

Bobbit’s Hole is the Harwich Society’s nature reserve and there is always something to see whatever the time of year.

A favourite time for many visitors is when the snowdrops appear as an ongoing planting scheme has resulted in a truly beautiful display that has become more and more spectacular over the years.

The snowdrops are now in full bloom and the Harwich Society volunteers who manage Bobbit’s Hole are delighted with the outcome.

Aileen Farnell, who is a member of the Bobbit’s Hole team, says, “We have added to the snowdrops each year for a considerable number of years and the annual display is now a truly lovely sight. We welcome visitors through all of the seasons but I doubt there is a more attractive time to visit Bobbit’s Hole than when the snowdrops are in bloom.”
