The Harwich Society Quiz Team is delighted to announce that they will be running a music quiz in aid of Saint Helena Hospice at the Royal Oak public house on Monday 8th November starting at 8PM.
It will be the first music quiz since February 2020 and the team is very much looking forward to it.
In addition to their regular General Knowledge quiz nights, the Harwich Society Quiz Team usually run four or five music quizzes throughout the year in aid of various causes but these have not been possible due to the pandemic. Each quiz consists of 100 pieces of popular music and all teams have to do is name the artist. The music ranges from the 1960s through to the present day and goes from reggae to rock with everything else in between.
The quiz is open to all with teams of up to eight at £2 per head.
Garry Calver who, with Lynsey Calver, compiles the quiz, says, “It’s been so long since we were able to run a music quiz and there can be no better cause for our first one back than Saint Helena Hospice. The music quizzes are always very popular and the team thoroughly enjoys running them. We look forward to seeing lots of old faces and hopefully new ones as well for the first music quiz in nearly two years.”
