Even if you have lived in Harwich for all of your life why not treat yourself to a day out over the Easter weekend visiting the Harwich Society visitor attractions as they open for the first time in 2025.
The dedicated band of Harwich Society volunteers has been working throughout the winter months to decorate, repair and improve the nine visitor attractions managed by the Harwich Society and everyone is very much looking forward to greeting the first visitors of 2025.
Harwich Society chairman, Andy Schooler, says, “There is always a buzz of excitement among our volunteers as we get ready to open for a new season and there is a lot to see and experience at our visitor attractions. A day out in Harwich is a great idea for Easter even when you live here!”
The last monthly talk of the Society’s winter programme has now taken place and everyone is looking forward to showing off the sights of Historic Harwich throughout the summer.
“A great way to enjoy the Harwich Society’s visitor attractions is through Harwich Society membership,” continued Andy Schooler. “It’s only £10 per adult, £15 per family, £7 per senior citizen and £6 per student. This gives you unlimited free access to all visitor attractions, free entrance to the monthly talks throughout the winter and four quarterly magazines packed with information. It’s remarkable value.”
