The Harwich Society is delighted and honoured to have received a special award presented by Brenda Ellis BEM, Chair of Community Voluntary Services Together (CVST).
The award recognises the Society’s contribution to the local community and the dedication of its volunteers, who give their time, knowledge and enthusiasm to preserve, protect and promote the rich history and heritage of Harwich.
We are extremely proud to receive this special award. It is a wonderful recognition of the commitment shown by our volunteers, members and supporters throughout the year.
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, from welcoming visitors and caring for historic attractions to organising events, talks and community activities. This award belongs to every person who contributes to the work of The Harwich Society.
