Dovercourt Beside the Seaside Festival offers a fun day for all! Situated along Dovercourt Bay Seafront there will be activities for all including: Live Music, Secret Beach Huts, Donkey Rides, Roller Skating, Bouncy Castle, Sandcastle Competitions, as well as Food, Drink and Craft Stalls – and much much more.
Live Music will be performed on two stages: The Mainstage with an eclectic showcase curated by Harwich’s very own, award winning, Essex Rocks. and for the first time an Acoustic Podium.
Secret Beach Huts return with
The Heritage Hut run by the The Harwich Society
Storytelling Hut – With free storytelling and performance from the HDHS year 12 performing arts students
Hair Hut – With Braiding and other activities from graduates of the ACL Hairdressing Course
The Escape Hut – Run by Tricky Escape Harwich
Craft Hut – With free arts workshops for children.
There will be plenty of Children’s Activities taking place – including ….
A Sandcastle Competition – with prizes
Putting and Crazy golf at the Harwich Town Council putting green.
Free to enter Treasure Hunt
Taster Sessions at the Dovercourt Skating Rink
Bouncy Castles
Donkey Rides
as well as a number of food, drink, arts and crafts stalls
