Snowdrops blossom at Bobbit’s Hole

The Harwich Society’s nature reserve at Bobbit’s Hole is not just a summer visitor attraction but has much to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

The volunteers who manage Bobbit’s Hole are there every Sunday morning and are delighted with the beautiful show of Snowdrops that are presently blossoming throughout the reserve.

Chairman of the Harwich Society, Colin Farnell, says, “With the Snowdrops and Primroses in full bloom Bobbit’s Hole is a lovely sight at present. There is always something to see at Bobbit’s Hole but this lovely winter display is particularly special.”

Bobbit’s Hole may be accessed from the ASDA car park in Main Road, Dovercourt and is open to the public free of charge each Sunday morning between 10AM and 12 noon.
