The Harwich Society Quiz Team runs monthly quiz nights at the Royal Oak public house as fund raisers for the Harwich Society and are very grateful to Andrea King and her team for the support given by the Royal Oak.
Andrea and her team choose a charity for the pub to support throughout the year and this year they are raising money for Saint Helena Hospice.
To show their appreciation to Andrea and her team for their fantastic support, the Harwich Society Quiz Team is running a quiz at the Royal Oak on Monday 19th May in aid of the Royal Oak charity appeal.
Garry Calver from the Harwich Society Quiz Team says, “We have run monthly quiz nights at the Royal Oak since 2013 and the support that Andrea and her team have given us has been fantastic. We want to show our appreciation so what better way to do so than to run a charity quiz for the Royal Oak charity appeal.”
The quiz will take place in the hall at the rear of the Royal Oak and will start at 8PM It is for teams of up to 8 people at £2 per head and the Quiz Team hope to see a lot of new faces as well as their regular ones. There is no need to book a table, simply turn up on the night.
“If you enjoy a good laugh when you’re quizzing then I think this will be the quiz for you,” continued Garry Calver. “We want to provide a good quiz but we also want everyone to go home with a smile on their face. If we can achieve this and raise funds for Saint Helena Hospice then it wil be a great night!”
