In addition to the monthly General Knowledge quiz, the Harwich Society Quiz Team run four or five music quizzes each year and the next one is on Monday 28th October in aid of the Mayoress’ Appeal.
The music quizzes consist of 100 pieces of music dating from the 1960’s through to the present day and all teams have to do is name the artist.
The quiz is for teams of up to 8 people at £2 per head and will take place in the hall at the rear of the Royal Oak public house starting at 8PM.
Quiz master Colin Perry says, “Our music quizzes are a real fun night with some teams being very knowledgeable and others not having a clue but having a good sing-along. It’s for a very good cause and we hope it will be very well supported.”
