As a result of the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic the Harwich Society is announcing that its visitor attractions are closed to the general public until further notice.
The Harwich Society board of trustees will closely monitor the on-going guidance and look forward to the day when it is considered safe and appropriate to return to all normal activities.
Chairman of the Harwich Society, Colin Farnell, says, “Harwich Society members are used to playing an active role within the local community and I’m sure that those able to do so safely will be involved in the community response to this unprecedented pandemic. We must also recognise that nothing is more important than the health and safety of our volunteers and our visitors so we believe it is necessary to take this action.”
