The Harwich Redoubt is similar to redoubts at Eastbourne and Dymchurch (see links page for URL's)

 

Martello Towers were numbered along the South Coast and lettered along the East Coast.

Tower "L" was used as a signal station
Tower "M" was converted into a base for a water tower. (now disused)
Tower "O" has been eroded away and is now under sea level

The situation of the other towers shown are unknown by the author at present
